2010 featured artist
Singing is in Angel’s blood. Of Samoan heritage, she grew up surrounded by music in her home and at church. Over the years she came to realise her gift was to give back through song, and she has now dedicated her life to pursuing a singing career.
Angel has been part of the prestigious Talent Development Project since the age of 13 and graduated from the program in 2010.
She performs regularly for high profile corporate clients including the McGrath Foundation, Sony Foundation, Tim Cahill, Alan Jones, ClubsNSW and the St George Foundation. She has also sung at events including the Sydney Youth Olympics and the 2009 Australia Day lunch and during the Four Nations Rugby League tournament. She has also been a featured performer at the Schools Spectacular since 2006.
Alan Jones AO has described Angel as “a young Whitney Houston” and her outstanding voice has already attracted the attention of Sony Music heavyweights.
However, performing alone isn’t enough for Angel. She is also dedicated to teaching other young singers and is a great role model in her local community, directing school and church choirs.
While Angel’s vocal talent covers a wide range of genres, she has a particular passion for Jazz and R&B and is working on developing her own style to inspire a new generation of listeners.
