The Specialist Performer/Ensemble category extends an opportunity to a wide variety of musical, dance and theatrical ensembles and individuals including rock bands, small vocal ensembles, cultural groups, ballroom dancing duos, signing choirs, circus groups, magicians, aerialists and any other specialty acts.
Specialist Performer/Ensemble will be selected via an online video audition.
Solo students / school groups are asked to present at least one piece on the video however, it is preferable that you provide 2 contrasting pieces.
Audition videos should be no longer than 3 minutes in length.
Some groups/individuals may be asked to come to Sydney for a live audition in Term 2, 2023.
Involvement in the show for Specialist Ensembles/Performers will be negotiated as the creative process of the show progresses.
Please consider the Featured Artist, Featured Instrumentalist and Featured Dance Ensemble categories if these are more relevant to you.
